DBG Cares is the heart of our community outreach efforts at Dallas Beer Guardians. Through this initiative, we aim to support, uplift, and stand with the communities that make North Texas home.

Over the years, DBG Cares has partnered with a variety of organizations to make a lasting impact—supporting disaster relief efforts after hurricanes and tornadoes, collecting donations for local shelters and food banks, and working with youth-focused programs like Denton ISD’s G.O.A.L. initiative. We've also proudly teamed up with nonprofits like Dallas Resource Center and Children’s Health to use the power of soccer for good.

Whether it’s lending a hand in times of crisis or showing up for our neighbors year-round, DBG Cares is our way of giving back and showing that being a supporter goes far beyond the stands.

KERR COUNTY (2).png

Kerr County Flood Relief Fund

Texans help Texans, especially when our neighbors are hurting.

Communities across the Hill Country, including Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort, are facing devastating loss after the flash floods on July 4. Lives were lost, homes were destroyed, and families are in urgent need of support.

We're asking our members, fellow supporters, and the greater FC Dallas community to donate directly to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, which is working with trusted local organizations to provide aid and help rebuild.

Let’s show what it means to stand together — as Texans, and as a community.

Past Initiative Highlights

Denton G.O.A.L. Program

DBG partnered with GOAL, an initiative that uses soccer to empower at-risk and English language learning students in Denton ISD, by providing volunteers and fundraising support. Our efforts helped the program expand its impact beyond athletics into academics and community activism. Thanks to DBG’s backing, MLS and Wells Fargo recognized the partnership in 2017: MLS featured our collaboration in a video on the GOAL Cup, and Wells Fargo made a $1,000 donation.

2018 ISC Philanthropic Group of the Year

The "Enemies For 90… Texans For Life" initiative was a powerful collaborative relief effort spearheaded by the Dallas Beer Guardians alongside rival supporters groups—the Houston Dynamo’s Texian Army and San Antonio FC’s 210 Alliance—following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey in 2017. Under this banner, the three groups set aside their on-field rivalries to raise over $7200, collecting much-needed funds and supplies for displaced families across South Texas. Their united front garnered widespread recognition, ultimately earning the trio the Independent Supporters Council’s Philanthropic Group of the Year award at the 2018 ISC Convention in Vancouver.

Alone, it is estimated that DBG donated over $1800 worth of supplies to go to Houston to be dispersed to other cities along the coast. DBG members took a trailer of supplies to Houston, meeting up with the Texian Army to unload supplies. Another van load was taken to a drop-off location in Dallas for those who had been displaced and were in shelters. DBG also raised $2407 in monetary donations to help buy school supplies needed and worked with a local school's National Junior Honor Society to run a school supply drive for Crosby Middle School in Hitchcock, TX.
