Join us at the DBG End of Year Party!

It's the end of another year and so we gather with our Beer Family to celebrate or commiserate the season past and what awaits in 2018. We'll have drinks specials courtesy of our friends Peticolas, the triumphant return of DBG Pub Quiz and an ugly Christmas sweater contest (Chanukah, Kwanzaa and Festivus sweaters are of course included!). Every year we factor in something that helps members to give to good causes. We've donated to Lionsraw and the Fifty-Eight Foundation, and collected items for victims of the storms that tore through North Texas two years ago. This year we will hold a soccer equipment drive for G.O.A.L.

We will be starting at 6 PM at Peticolas. For $15 you'll get a special DBG/Peticolas glass to keep (if you're one of the first 36 people), and four beers.

DBG Pub Quiz starts at 7 PM. It will be $5 per person with teams of up to four, with the proceeds going to G.O.A.L. The winning team will each win a $15 gift voucher to Peticolas, a Thrilla in Brazilla trucker hat.

Our ugly sweater contest is open to all. The ugliest, nastiest, most disgusting sweater (Dynamo jerseys are disqualified) will win an FC Dallas scarf signed by soon-to-be starting right back, Reggie Cannon. If you don't have an ugly sweater, or you'd just rather wear your DBG/FCD gear, we've got a ball signed by now LAFC/USMNT defender Walker Zimmerman, and a hat signed by Chris Seitz to give away!

One of the best things to come from every DBG End of Year Party is the charitable aspect. We've helped tornado victims, given toys to children in hospitals, collected money to help the work of Lionsraw in South Africa and Brazil, and like last year we will have an equipment drive for G.O.A.L. Place your gifts under the tree that will help the children in the G.O.A.L. program to grow as young men and women, and the leaders that they can be through soccer.
