More Than A Tournament - Thank You.

To everyone who traveled to Dallas for the World Cup,

Thank you.

Thank you for making our city louder, brighter, and more alive than we ever imagined. Thank you for filling our breweries, our streets, our stadium, and our hearts with songs, scarves, flags, and friendships that crossed every border. 

For a few unforgettable weeks, Dallas wasn't just OUR home—it became ALL of ours.

You reminded us that football is bigger than a result. It is the friendships made before kickoff, the conversations shared over a beer, the scarves exchanged, and the moments when strangers begin singing together like they have known each other for years.

We hope Dallas gave you memories you will carry long after the final whistle. You certainly gave us memories we will never forget.

What began as a World Cup quickly became something much more. Together we celebrated Japan Day, marched through our streets, shared songs, traded scarves, laughed over beers, and discovered that home isn't always a place—sometimes it's the people who welcome you.

You didn't just visit Dallas. You became part of it.

Thank you for sharing your incredible supporter culture with us, for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering passion, and for reminding us that football has a language all its own. We hope you return home knowing that you have family waiting for you in Texas. The friendships we built here will outlast this tournament, and we cannot wait until our paths cross again.

本当にありがとうございました。

ワールドカップをきっかけに始まった時間は、あっという間にそれ以上の特別なものになりました。私たちは一緒にジャパンデーを祝い、街を歩き、歌を歌い、マフラーを交換し、ビールを飲みながら笑い合いました。そして、「ホーム」とは必ずしも場所だけではなく、迎え入れてくれる人たちの存在でもあるのだと気づかされました。

皆さんはただダラスを訪れたのではありません。

ダラスの一部になってくれました。

素晴らしいサポーター文化を私たちと分かち合ってくれたこと、そして皆さんの優しさ、寛大さ、揺るぎない情熱に心から感謝します。フットボールには、言葉を超えて人と人をつなぐ力があることを、改めて教えてくれました。

日本へ帰った後も、テキサスには皆さんを家族のように待っている仲間がいることを忘れないでください。ここで生まれた友情は、この大会が終わっても続いていきます。またいつか、皆さんと再会できる日を心から楽しみにしています。

From our supporters' match to the brewery, and every conversation in between, you reminded us that the best part of this sport has never been confined to ninety minutes. It's found in the people you meet, the traditions you exchange, and the stories you create together.

Thank you for bringing your passion, your humor, and your supporter culture to Dallas. You welcomed us into your traditions just as readily as you embraced ours, and somewhere along the way, the distance between Sweden and Texas didn't seem quite so far.

 We can't wait until football gives us another excuse to share a pint, throw our scarves over our shoulders, and be together again.

Från vår supportermatch till bryggeriet och alla samtal däremellan påminde ni oss om att det bästa med den här sporten aldrig har handlat om bara nittio minuter. Det finns i människorna man möter, traditionerna man delar med varandra och minnena man skapar tillsammans.

Tack för att ni tog med er er passion, er humor och er supporterkultur till Dallas. Ni bjöd in oss till era traditioner lika självklart som ni omfamnade våra, och någonstans längs vägen kändes avståndet mellan Sverige och Texas inte längre särskilt stort.

Vi ser redan fram emot nästa gång fotbollen ger oss en anledning att dela en öl, lägga halsduken över axlarna och vara tillsammans igen.
